There are no words to depict the awesomeness of this trailer. AMC channel has released a four and a half minute trailer for the new zombie series “The Walking dead” and it is available over on Bloody-Disgusting.com. Apparently the series is set to premiere on Halloween on AMC. What are you doing on Halloween? Watching AMC mofos! The comic book ”The Walking Dead” may soon be a TV series. The comic book has been around since 2003 and is published by image comics. The comic book is published in black and white and has a gritty drama feel to it. The issues I’ve read have been pretty interesting and mainly outline the drama of those who have survived (or I should say are still surviving) the Zombie Apocalypse.
It appears that AMC may be taking on the project. To quote John Stillerman of AMC ”This is not about zombies popping out of closets,” Stillerman said. “This is a story about survival, and the dynamics of what happens when a group is forced to survive under these circumstances. The world (in ‘Walking Dead’) is portrayed in a smart, sophisticated way.”
As much as I like closet popping zombies, the direction the show may take for a TV series sounds interesting. But really, who cares? It’s a TV show featuring those loveable flesh eating monsters we’ve come to love and adore. That’s all I need to start watching.
