Google Maps + zombie + creative genius = Zombie outbreak simulator. If you’ve always wanted to see Washington DC get overrun by the undead, this web based game by binaryspacegames.com will satisfy your needs. The zombie outbreak simulator provides a top down aerial view of a zombie invasion in Washington DC. You can change settings such as zombie speed, infection rate, number of police and police accuracy.
You can change the settings up so that civilians and police have a better chance, but I had way more fun setting up a horde of very fast zombies with super fast infection rates. 3000 civilian casualties in less than 6 minutes. Not too shabby I must say.
Check it out. Zombie outbreak Simulator.

If you happen to be near the Portage Theatre in Milwaukee today, then you should drop EVERYTHING you are doing and head in there at 4pm for the Zombie Outbreak film festival. Not only will they be providing a series of films for you to watch, but at midnight they will be showing a 35mm reel of Return of the Living Dead, one of the legendary movies that has brought the zombie genre into the cult status that it now has.
The festival will feature 14 short films including the low budget “Colin“. As well, there will be several guest appearances, and a chance to win a “Halloween 2” poster signed by Rob ands Sherry Moon Zombie.
For more information on the festival, check out the Horror Society website.
