Zombies in love. But you know it won’t last. A live-action CGI short film from Media Design School’s Graduate Diploma of Advanced 3D Productions. The short was produced in 12 weeks and features 22 digital effects shots. I’d say they did a pretty smash up job.
You have to check out this cookie jar of awesome zombie awesomeness over at thinkgeek.com. I would fill it with brain cookies or some other brain type confectionary because honestly, what else would you do with this thing? Maybe fill it with brains, if you are a real zombie. According to AMCs The Walking Dead Blog, the series (of the same name duh) has been signed for a second season. That excites me in ways you just can’t imagine (and probably don’t want to). Apparently The Walking Dead has “has broken ratings records, with the series reaching more Adults 18 to 49 than any other show in the history of cable television”. That is freaking awesome. And not just because it broke a record, but because it’s zombies, and it broke a record. Season two will feature a full 13 episodes, as opposed to this seasons 6 episodes. Twice the zombie action. Check out the press release here for more information. I’m gonna go shiver in glee now.
Just shoutin out a happy halloween to all my undead peeps. Go out, have fun, blend in. If you are in Seattle, you should be attending the ZomBcon, the greatest con ever. If you missed out Oct 30, you missed the wedding of the undead, but there’s still a ton more awesome stuff to go see. And if you aren’t in the Seattle area, what the hell? Get your arse over there and join in!
Also, do NOT forget to check out “The Walking Dead” tonight on AMC.
